The Irvington Counseling Center offers therapeutic clinical & psychiatric services to the community. Our staff are professionally trained in specialty areas of counseling to address various mental health needs in our community. There is collaboration among local agencies, schools, hospitals, courts, & the township of Irvington to promote a healthy and safe space to talk about mental health.
We strive to help our patients lead a happier life and remind them that they are not alone in their journey to mental wellness. Here at ICC, our goal is to ensure that each patient receives optimal care regardless of their circumstances.

Irvington Counseling Center was established in 1961 with the goal of providing a variety of mental health services to the residents of Irvington and the surrounding communities. We believe that every individual should have access and be given an opportunity to receive therapeutic mental health services.

Our team of therapists and APN's are equipped to help you with any mental health needs. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, anger issues, mood disorders or any other mental health concerns, the ICC staff has the education and training to help individuals manage and come up with solutions to solve whatever it is that is causing discomfort and stress.

Psychiatric Services
We offer psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring. Our APNS are equipped to give you further treatment if counseling does not help to alleviate your symptoms.
We incorporate therapy and medication management as a combination treatment to help stablize mental health and provide clients with a well-rounded therapeutic experience.
our treatment plans are individualized to meet each client's specific needs. There are options for Medication Management only as well as a therapy alongside medication monitoring.
Insurance and Payment
We accept Medicaid and Medicare as well as Private Insurances. If you do not have insurance, we can apply for coverage through a state funded indigent insurance, risk free. If you do not qualify, we can discuss a payment plan to make sure your appointments are covered. We understand the importance of mental health needs and we are willing to help you get coverage for your services.
Fee for service:
If you have no insurance or do not qualify as indigent, the there is a flat rate charge for our services:
Counseling services - $30 Per session
Psychiatric Services- $50 Per session
