Raywatie Gocool, Executive Director

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. I obtained a bachelor's degree as well as a master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University. In 2013, I began my career working extensively in the criminal justice system providing mental health and substance abuse counseling to adult male inmates. After 5 years exploring my career, I decided that I wanted to give back to the community of Irvington where I was raised and the community that helped the shape my identity. My expertise is comprehensive in dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, grief and anger management. My belief is that all individuals hold a key to their own happiness and my goal is to help guide them towards the necessary tools they need to move towards a healthier and happier lifestyle. My therapeutic approaches are centered around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Person- Centered Therapy.

Tracey Orner, Administrative Assistant/Billing Manager

Having graduated from Rutgers, NCAS in 1987 with a BA in Business Management, I began my career with Shearson Lehman Hutton in Newark. After a few years, I was hired by the Township of Irvington and stayed for 29 years until retiring at the end of 2020 as the Payroll Supervisor. While working for the Township, I took a part-time position as Billing Manager on June 10, 2011 at the Irvington Counseling Center and have been here ever since. I am currently the Administrative Assistant/Billing Manager, so since retiring I have taken on more responsibilities. I really enjoy working for ICC, because I find it fulfilling personally to be part of an organization that helps so many people, especially in Irvington, where I was born and raised. I have deep roots in this Town, so giving back to the community is very important to me.

Andrew Singh, Office Assistant

I received a Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration from Saint Peter's University in 2019 and 2020. I began working at Irvington Counseling Center in 2021 as a Receptionist. I now work as an office assistant here. What I enjoy about working at ICC is connecting with the community and helping people reach their goals. Although I am not from Irvington I am still from NJ and it is important to me to contribute to the community of my state. Irvington Counseling Center is an organization that prides itself in helping the community which is why I want to be apart of it.

Adara Kimbrough, Senior Staff Clinician

Amanda Barreto, Staff Clinician

Amanda Barreto, MSW, is a dedicated Master's-level mental health counselor who provides individualized supportive counseling to clients facing a range of mental health challenges. Passionate about promoting mental well-being, she offers compassionate, client-centered care to individuals of various ages. She empowers clients to navigate life’s difficulties with resilience and confidence and is committed to fostering a safe, empathetic environment through a collaborative and therapeutic approach that encourages personal growth and overall well-being.

Maria Elliot Francis, Staff Clinician

Dedicated and compassionate therapist and State of New Jersey Crisis Screener with extensive experience in individual, family, group, and marriage therapy. My work spans school systems, hospitals, and community mental health settings, where I have supported clients through challenges with empathy and expertise.
I have collaborated with child study teams to address students' emotional and behavioral needs and worked in hospital settings providing crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and therapeutic interventions for acute mental health issues.
With a warm, person-centered approach, I am committed to fostering growth and well-being for individuals and families.

George Kwantwi Barimah, Staff Clinician

My name is George Kwantwi-Barimah. A highly skilled Social Worker, Counselor and Case Manager with considerable experience in mental health; substance abuse disorders and co- occurring diagnosis. I have been in the hospital system for more than 12 years with experiences running through mental health and its effects on men and women both young and old..
My area of expertise includes anger management, couples and family counseling; helping people in the welfare and shelter systems and people struggling with anxiety, depression and stress. I come to this job with a strong educational background from Caldwell University where I did my Bachelor's and Kean university where I completed my Masters in social work. My greatest reward and motivation for this job is being a positive tool in the lives of my clients and seeing the light of happiness in their eyes.

Skiyetta Torres, Staff Clinician

I was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, rooted in my Puerto Rican and African American heritage. After graduating high school, I served six years in the United States Marine Corps, developing discipline and leadership skills. I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and criminology with a minor in sociology from William Paterson University, where my passion for helping others grew while working with women transitioning from prison to reduce recidivism.
This drive led me to pursue a Master of Social Work at Seton Hall University. During my studies, I gained experience as a substance abuse counselor at Integrity House in Newark and as an elementary school counselor. After graduating in 2023, I began my career as a clinician at Irvington Counseling Center.
As a bilingual professional, I continue expanding my expertise with certifications in trauma and exposure therapies. I strive to empower others and create meaningful change.

Femi Omidire, Psychiatric APN

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 5 years of experience working with individuals and families facing mental health and substance abuse challenges. Previously, I served as the Assistant Director of the Behavioral Unit at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ, the largest hospital in New Jersey, for 7 years.
Throughout my career, I have gained experience in various settings, including Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, detox facilities, and rehabilitation centers. My specialization includes treating a wide range of mental health disorders, such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, mood disorders, PTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, personality disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I provide care to patients across their lifespans and am deeply passionate about serving my population of interest, which sets me apart from other providers.

Prisca Ogbonaya, Psychiatric APN

An enthusiastic Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 2 years of experiences playing a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions. I have worked in an inpatient psychiatric unit in the hospital and outpatient care, collaborating with individuals and families that struggle with mental health and substance abuse. I am also proficient in-Patient care and tele-psychiatry. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, it will be my goal to advocate for patients who struggle to be heard or respected, and to manage their treatment with compassion, understanding, and attention to holistic are.
